Britney Spears in studio, “stomping on genres”
By CMU Editorial | Published on Monday 17 December 2012
R&B songwriter Elijah Blake has revealed he’s spent time in an LA-based studio with one Britney Spears, who is seemingly making a sequel to last year’s ‘Femme Fatale’ LP. He says Britney – titan of pop innovation that she is – has been “stomping” all over new genres, so that’s nice.
Rihanna/Usher collaborator Blake spills thus to That Grape Juice: “I think her fans will be surprised by it. I would say it’s definitely the ‘unexpected’ Britney in so many ways, in that she’s playing with new textures and stomping on new grounds and genres”.
