Britney Spears confirms Will.i.am, Hit-Boy collaborations
By Aly Barchi | Published on Monday 7 January 2013
It looks like Britney Spears’ new LP will feature collaborations of the “inspiring” kind with Will.i.am and hip hop hitmaker Hit-Boy. The same apparently doesn’t apply to R&B character Elijah Blake who, despite implying he’d been in the studio with Ms Spears back in December, hasn’t thus far done so. Or so says Britney’s official rep, who shared all the above info with Entertainment Weekly just last Thursday.
Following an un-revelatory Twitter Q&A with fans in which Spears defined her in-studio mindset as “excited” and “really focused on my music right now” – adding that she was “collaborating with some new inspiring producers” – said rep gave ET confirmation that Hit-Boy and Spears’ ‘Scream And Shout’ partner Will.i.am will, in fact, appear on the tbc heir apparent to 2011’s ‘Femme Fatale’.
