Box TV, the music television company co-owned by Bauer and Channel 4, has announced that its telly services will now also be available online.

Viewers will be able to stream the 4Music, Heat, Kiss, Kerrang!, Box, Smash Hits and Magic TV services for free via the web or their mobile and tablet device of choice, either via each individual service’s own website, or 4music.com.

In addition to that, Freeview viewers will now be able to access the Magic, Kiss and Kerrang! music channels, in addition to the existing flagship 4Music service, by pressing the red button while watching 4Music programmes.

Says Julie Wright, Business Development and Commercial Director at Box TV: “Music and TV consumption patterns are changing and we are now able to meet our core 16-34 audiences on their preferred connected device and on compatible Freeview devices. We’re offering innovative, editorially curated and legal alternatives to pirate internet TV services and are giving our advertisers exciting new opportunities to market their brands and products”.
