Bis to break silence with new LP

In this, the year of bigtime renaissances by the long-silent likes of Outkast, Slowdive and, erm, Girl Thing, Glaswegian band Bis have confirmed their first LP since 2001.
The trio, consisting of ‘Sci-Fi’ Steven Clark, John ‘Disco’ Clark and Amanda MacKinnon aka Manda Rin, first appeared in 1994, splitting in 2003 and reconciling again in 2007, going on to play Primavera in 2010.
Their new release, a twelve-track titled ‘Data Panik Etcetera’, arrives via Do Yourself on 5 May. Hear its lead single ‘Rulers And The States’ here:
