Ben Bodie hired to head up new Ministry Of Sound publisher
By Chris Cooke | Published on Monday 16 June 2014
Ministry Of Sound has hired Ben Bodie, formerly UK VP of A&R at BMG Chrysalis, to help it build a new music publishing business alongside its existing label.
Confirming his new job, Bodie told Music Week: “To help build [Ministry’s] publishing business from the ground up is a once in a lifetime opportunity. The new company will mirror the ethos of the label in many ways, developing artists and writers and most importantly offering a truly bespoke hands-on service. As the label goes from strength to strength the timing for this new venture has never been more perfect”.
Meanwhile Ministry Of Sound label MD David Dollimore added: “We really clicked when I met Ben fairly recently. He has a great taste in music and a good long-term vision for MoS Publishing. We are all very excited that he has moved to MoS Towers to head it up and are looking forward to working with him”.
