Beggars appear on Times fast-growing global sellers list

London-based independent The Beggars Group represent the music industry on a new Sunday Times-published list of the hundred privately-owned UK companies with the fastest international sales growth.
The poll, compiled by Oxford-based research company Fast Track, rates the privately-owned companies experiencing the fastest growth in global sales based on the last two years of available accounts. Beggars, the only music company in the 100, came in at 36, recognising the indie’s rapid growth in international sales in recent years, up from £5.7 million a year in 2006 to £19.2 million a year in 2008.
