Approved: We Fear Silence presents Shogun Audio
By Paul Vig | Published on Friday 19 August 2011
London promoter We Fear Silence took over Saturday nights at South London’s Cable underneath London Bridge just over a year ago, and these nights have been a must for any drum n bass head ever since.
Tomorrow night, Shogun head honcho Friction will get the main room into action with a two hour set, followed by dBridge, Icicle, Distance, Belgian basshead Alix Perez, and then a big tag team: Total Science with SPY, Spectrasoul, and Presha, with MCs SP:MC, AD, and Dynamite MC.
Friction then steps into Room Two for an alternative set, with back in the day legend, Dr S Gachet taking us back into his jungle lair, ably assisted by MCs El Matador and Reference. Should be a corker.
Saturday 20 Aug, Cable, 33A Bermondsey St, London SE1, 9pm-6am, £10 adv/£15door, more info here.
