Approved: Vanessa Paradis – Love Song

An A-list popstar, model and ‘actrice’ in France since 1991’s ‘Joe Le Taxi’, Vanessa Paradis will on 13 May release what will (slightly ironically, given its title ‘Love Songs’) be her first solo LP after breaking with ex-partner Johnny Depp.
Whatever the heartache she may have felt at that, it isn’t at all apparentin Paradis’ new single ‘Love Song’, a light and girlish flirtation with late-1990s style disco pop on the same lines as Moloko’s ‘Sing It Back’. Only cooler, because it’s French:
