Approved: Ty album launch at Plan B

Over the last ten years, rapper Ty has collaborated with the likes of Tony Allen, De La Soul and Estelle, as well as picking up a Mercury nomination on the way. Tonight at Plan B in Brixton he launches his fourth album, ‘Special Kind Of Fool’, which will be released by BBE Records on Monday.
As well as a live performance from the man himself, with backing from DJ Big Ted, there’ll be DJ sets from Shortee Blitz (Kiss FM/Extended Players), DJ 279 (Choice FM), Spin Doctor (The Doctor’s Orders) and Snuff (Speakers Corner/End Of The Weak) and regular interjections from MC Prankster, who is hosting all main room activity. Hosting room two are Southern Hospitality, who’ll be playing 90s swingbeat and R&B all night.
