Approved: Truls – Out Of Yourself

After splitting up Lukestar, Truls Heggero, frontman of the Norwegian indie rock group, decided to indulge a very different side of his musical tastes as he headed into his solo career. Shirking off jangly guitars he instead applied his falsetto vocal stylings to a perhaps more natural home in R&B.
Having been working away in the studio with songwriter and producer Thomas Eriksen, Heggero’s first solo track, ‘Out Of Yourself’, hit the net last week. That high-pitched voice takes a few moments to get used to, but by the time the first chorus comes around you’ll be fully on board, just in time for the video to take a turn for the gory.
