Trills

After years of honing their skills as an acapella group, Trills were almost ready to ditch their singing careers, before being picked up to record a song for a trailer for Carey Mulligan film ‘Suffragette’.

And now they’re preparing for the release of their debut EP ‘Lacuna’ – the first single from which, ‘Mud And Gold’, has already been featured in another movie trailer, for Disney film ‘Pete’s Dragon’.

Taking their considerable vocal skills – heard perfectly on their cover of James Blake’s ‘Retrograde’ – they’ve worked with producer Johan Hugo on ‘Lacuna’ to build a suitably grand, cinematic sound for their voices.

With the EP due out on 11 Nov, their next show is a Sofar Sounds gig on 25 Oct at a secret location in Fulham.
