Silja Sol released her second album, ‘Væremeh’, in January, but she’s wasting no time moving on, having just released the first single from album number three. It’s easy to see why she might be eager to get this new material out too. Going over fully to electronic pop, ‘Dyrene’ is filled with a new excitement and enthusiasm.
Hints of this sound have been evident in her music before, though guitar and piano were generally the predominant instruments. Here, her voice glides over a euphoric synth riff and a bass line that pushes the song forward like a snowplough.
