Club Tip CMU Approved
Approved: Monkey Mafia at Paradise
By Paul Vig | Published on Friday 4 November 2011
Having reformed a few months ago, with a little help from my CMU cohort Eddy Temple-Morris, Monkey Mafia hit West London tonight with a headline slot at Paradise in Kensal Green. Proclaiming themselves to be forerunners of dubstep, the band, led by Heavenly Social regular Jon Carter, will be playing out some bassy goodness, with a few new tracks amongst some of those 90s greats.
Also on hand will be old school legend Arthur Baker, playing out some classic disco, scratch DJ Krash Slaughta, Jon Carter collaborator Alex Blanco, and Carter himself.
Friday 4 Nov, Paradise, 19 Kilburn Lane, Kensal Green, London, W10 4 AE, 8pm – 2am, free before 10pm, £4 after 10pm, more info here.
