Approved: DJ Food – Sentinal (Shadow Guard)

I love the little Sound Cloud streaming widget, though should stress that this isn’t approved simply for its choice of previewing platform. DJ Food, which these days means the brilliant Strictly Kev, has a brand new EP coming your way next month, but for the impatient among you three of the tracks off it are streaming right now on SoundCloud, with all three available on the aforementioned SoundCloud widget that has been posted on the DJ Food website. Pay special attention to ‘Sentinel (Shadow Guard)’, which is the first ever studio collaboration between Kev and longtime DJ partner and Solid Steel producer DK, and which also features CMU favourite King Cannibal on the mixing desk. This combination equals a super-group in some circles. It’s a hugely infectious wobbly-bleep filled track the greatness of which will only really hit you two thirds of the way through your third listen. I promise you. Go check.
