Summer’s here, which I take as a cue to go back to the old skool, and these B295 nights always do the job. The latest will take place this Saturday at Area near Vauxhall.
It’s a Back To Back Special, and there are a load of great pairings to justify that ‘special’ tag. The main draw is the reuniting of former Dreem Team and Radio 1 partners DJ Spoony and Mikee B, alongside some of UKG’s finest, including Pied Piper and Mike ‘Ruff Cut’ Lloyd, and Scott Garcia (responsible for the underground smasher ‘It’s A London Thing’) and Ray Hurley. Oh, and we also get Jason Kaye and Listener, and Daryl B and Andy B. There’s gonna be a few ‘rewind selectas’ going on for sure.
In total there’ll be three rooms of sounds covering the best in R&B, bashment, jungle and more, with the Firin’ Squad, Rampage and Housefm.net all also contributing to the mix.
