Apple has released the latest beta version of its new iOS 8 operating system, which features a number of tweaks to its music app. Though the new look Beats isn’t in there, before you ask. I mean come on, you didn’t think they’d just drop it in there like that did you?

Anyway, 9to5mac reports that the newly updated app is now more streamlined, with a new overall design, updated player, easier to access iTunes Radio section (for those territories that have it, aka US and Australia), and improved search. It’s now also easier to toggle between tracks stored in iCloud and those actually held locally on you iOS device. About flippin time.

The final version of the software, including the integration of Apple’s all new streaming service, is expected next month at WWDC.
