Have you ever looked at Andrew Weatherall’s beard and thought, ‘Cor! I’d like to have that’? Of course you have. We all have. And now one of us shall, because it’s up for sale on eBay.
“Not only is this a chance to own the beard, but it is also expected to have a steady revenue stream from appearances worldwide”, claims the listing. “Obviously this is not going to be a stake in the artist, however the agent for the artist has insisted they are keeping the ‘beard’ on the books for events”.
So it really is an investment. How the seller came to possess the beard is unclear. But I’m sure it’s all legit. Throw some money at it here.
Weatherall, meanwhile, is using the energy gained from not having to lug a beard around to record a new album, due out later this year.
