Ailing Etta James discharged from hospital

Etta James has left hospital just days are the terminally ill singer’s condition improved enough for her to taken off a ventilator. As previously reported, James is suffering from both leukaemia and dementia. She was in hospital throughout Christmas after having trouble breathing, but her condition improved earlier this week and she was discharged yesterday afternoon. She will continue to receive at home treatment.
