The Great Escape

In addition to our obviously magnificent CMU Insights programme taking place at The Great Escape later this week, there’s also a new look networking programme for industry delegates attending the event.

And while the deadline for applying for meetings has now officially passed, TGE HQ has told us that there are a few late spots still available. This year the networking sessions consist of bespoke ten minute meetings between delegates and buyers and sellers from across the UK and beyond.

A very small number of spots are available to meet with: leading direct-to-fan company Music Glue, music video exchange Radar, entertainment law firm New Media Law and innovative US-based marketing agency DigSin (who will be speaking in the CMU Insights marketing strand on how they influence playlist owners online).

Meetings are available between 11am and 1pm on Thursday and Friday (mainly Friday), and if you are a delegate and would like a slot, email [email protected] including in your message who you would like to meet with and on what day.

UK delegates can also apply for late-availability networking meetings with representatives from the Egyptian and Lebanon music industries. International networking takes place from 2.30pm-4.30pm, and again email [email protected] if you are interested. Places will be distributed on a first come first service basis through to midday tomorrow.

The Great Escape kicks off at 10.30am on Thursday morning in Brighton. Click here to read up on the full CMU programme this year.
