50 Cent denies jewellery heist

50 Cent has denied stealing jewellery worth a quarter of a million dollars in Las Vegas earlier this month.
According to TMZ, jewellery dealer Robert Marin claims that he took a watch and chain to show the rapper, with a view to selling it to him, on the weekend of the Floyd Mayweather v Manny Pacquiao boxing match at the beginning of May.
Having met 50 Cent at Drai’s nightclub in the city, says Marin, the rapper invited him to see Floyd Mayweather’s gym. And while there, it’s alleged, two of Fiddy’s security guards pistol whipped him and stole the jewellery.
Las Vegas police have said that the rapper is not a suspect in the case, according to Billboard, but they are still attempting to positively identify the alleged thieves.
